You don’t need to inform your energy provider that you are installing an Electric Vehicle Charger, however you will probably want to tell them so you can get a cheaper charging tariff. It is however, necessary to inform the District Network Operator (DNO) who are responsible for the upkeep of your local electrical network. But don’t worry; we will do that for you! It’s all part of the service!
Yes. You can allow people access to use your electric vehicle charger and charge them at a rate set by you, for that service. All modern Electric Vehicle Chargers are OCPP (open charge point protocol) compliant, meaning that they can all be used with various back-end software that can manage billing and user access on behalf of owner/operators.
